Solo Strap; Chocolate Brown

Fantastic. I liked my older Tan Solo Strap so well that I wanted to order a matching Chocolate Brown one for a similar bass. When none of the online retailers had one in stock, I took a chance and just called... the California Crew fixed me right up. Great experience.

2nd Solostrap…...

I love my first SoloStrap so much, I bought a second. Don’t k now why, but the Brown one (2nd one) is considerably stiffer and less supple than my first black one. But I figure it will soften up over time. GREAT straps!

Well made, but design needs updating, and be careful with the finish on your bass...

VERY cumbersome to adjust, not a strap you can easily share or change basses with. Also, the exposed metal piece, both on the inside and on the outside of the strap, makes it a dangerous item to have around expensive basses with rare finishes. I have put felt on the inside to hide the exposed screw retainers, but not a great thing to hav to do with a $100.00 strap. I don't know what I'm going to do with the exposed screws on the outside; I'll just have to hope they necver make contact with my bass, which totally sucks. I do lie the strap, the colour is nice, it's well made; however, the darker part is SO processed it smells really badly of chemicals, and it no longer feels like leather, but more like some type of plastic. Needs work, I'd give it 3/5.

The Best Strap Ever Made

My review is for the Duostrap Signature. Best strap ever made. I have not been able to play standing up for a whole show....for years. It was just too painful on my neck. This strap has completely changed my entire professional outlook and performance. I have since purchased two additional straps and have evangelized this great product to as many people as possible.
