MonoNeon proudly endorses:

MonoNeon is a bassist from Memphis, TN. He has been playing bass since the age of four and taught himself by playing along with various records and songs on the radio. While being right-handed, he plays bass as a lefty upside-down. MonoNeon is also an experimental musician with his involvement and fascination with microtonal music. One of MonoNeon’s intentions in his playing as well as composing is to sound like Stockhausen and Albert King. He is also notable for what he calls the “Ready-Made Bass” (ordinary sock covering the headstock and his pseudonym taped on the body), which is inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s readymade artwork.

MonoNeon has worked with Screaming Headless Torsos, Frank McComb, The Funk Brothers, Avery Sunshine, Tye Tribbett, Georgia Anne Muldrow, George Duke, Ne-Yo, etc.

MonoNeon can be heard on Georgia Anne Muldrow’s latest album, “Ms. One.” He played bass on tracks Crossroads, Dimension, and Dollar.

Also check out MonoNeon’s album, “Southern Visionary.” The album features what he calls “microtonal-southern soul.” Some of the ideas on the album are inspired by Fluxus art and Luigi Russolo’s, “The Art of Noises” manifesto.
