ShirlyAce is a Colombian multi-percussionist based in Los Angeles whose powerful groove, versatility, and dynamic stage presence have led her to perform on major international stages. Recent highlights include performing in the halftime show of the Super Bowl LIX alongside global superstar Bad Bunny and appearing at Billboard Women in Music with Latin music icon Karol G. Originally from Colombia, she began her musical journey at age eight studying the transverse flute before discovering her passion for percussion. As a multi-percussionist, she performs on timbales, congas, bongos, Dominican tambora, drum set, darbuka, djembe, cajon, and multi-set, blending influences from Latin, pop, jazz, R&B, African, Greek, and Middle Eastern music. Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with renowned artists including Tony Vega, Daniela Darcourt, Luisito Carrión, Ray Sepúlveda, Gabino Pampini, Josimar Fidel, and the legendary salsa group Hermanos Lebrón, among many others. Her international collaborations also include artists such as Hamed Nikpay, Arash Avin, and American vocalist Andy Vargas, longtime lead singer for Santana. Today, ShirlyAce continues to build a global career performing with different artists all over the world.
