The 7 years old bass player phenom Áron Hodek from Slovakia, better know as ÁronTheBassist, is the most talented 7 years old bass player the world has ever seen. Growing up in a musician family gave him a great opportunity to develop his passion for music, sense of rhythm and sensitive listening while playing with professional musicians at the age of 7.

His ears and musical ability of comping is on a level of a grown man. In a month his Instagram account had about 10,000 followers. More than 200,000 people watched his video in one night. The legendary producer Quincy Jones acknowledged his amazing talent, but also musicians like Common, Robert Glasper, Tony Royster Jr., D’Angelo, Kim Burrell, PJ Morton and a lot of others shared or contacted him in a very positive way.

He has been on the most popular TV channels in Slovakia and also became the member of the Slovak RadioBand. His absolute idol is Jaco Pastorius who was born the same day as Áron.

Áron got nominated in two categories at the iLead Escape Sound Revolution Awards. His Instagram account reached many people around the world, which inspires the young generation to grab a bass. Moreover, this year, he received the Mayor’s award of his hometown, in Komárno.
