As an entrepreneur and world class touring musician, Eric started “Pitch Meeting” in the middle of the 2020 pandemic, creating a community using his Non Profit Artist Development Organisation “Pitch Music”, with the main mission of art creation with pure musical integrity fostered by world class musicianship.

Eric Fortaleza’s ingenious skills traverse multiple areas playing with has resulted in him being one of the top bass players in Sydney, Australia. Eric moved to Nashville in 2019 and became the bass player and musical director for Country Superstar, Lindsay Ell. Through building his brand and Pitch Meeting, Eric has performed and musically led for artists like David Ryan Harris (John Mayer), Chris Young, Randy Travis (Country Music Legend), Lauren Alaina, Old Dominion, Jimmie Allen just to name a few.

Eric is endorsed by companies Fender Musical Instruments, Aguilar Amplification, 64 Audio, Jim Dunlop Guitar Products, Eric’s most staple role is leading as house bass player and show-runner for his event “The Pitch Meeting”. Performing with the Pitch Meeting Band, Eric has helped build the Pitch brand’s reputation garnering endorsements and partnerships with world class brands like Shure Microphone and QSC Audio. Having performed with a handful of top artists and musicians in Nashville, the Pitch Meeting band has been dubbed “Nashville’s House Band”.

Eric believes that “Pitch Music” will one day turn into the world’s first robustly funded NON PROFIT RECORD LABEL with the aim to be able to match the resources of current top record labels in the music industry. “Only this time, artists will be able to own 100% of all their work and be given the complete freedom to create art without industry pressures.
