Maurice A. Machado is a Los Angeles–raised drummer and drum technician of Salvadoran and Brazilian heritage, whose work bridges technical mastery with deep musicality. Growing up in one of the most diverse music scenes in the world, Machado developed a style shaped by global rhythms, groove-driven performance, and a strong foundation in live touring.
As a performer, Machado has shared the stage with respected musicians including Norman Jackson, Alex Al, Cacau Santos, Jr Braguinha, Bubby Lewis, Oskar Cartaya, Brendan McPeek, Kevin Moore, David Israel and Paul Jackson Jr., among many others. His experience spans international touring and live performances across major stages worldwide, where his versatility and precision have made him a trusted collaborator.
Behind the scenes, Machado is also a highly sought-after drum technician, having worked with elite drummers such as Chris Coleman, Andy Prado Jr., Gorden Campbell, Teddy Campbell, Stanley Randolph, Virgil Donati, Sheila E., Also in-house tech for Chaka Khan, Lee Ritenour, Charles Streeter, Thomas Lang, and Tony Royster Jr..
