I play a lot of fast paced metal at 180-260 bpm, I try to not use a noise gate because it kills sustain, but These fret wraps literally ARE a noise gate. They work very well. I used to tie hairbands/bandanas around my guitar to get the effect, but the wraps by gruv gear work better.
