German Schauss

As a composer, performer and educator, German are involved in various music projects including his own solo instrumental rock project, teaching at Berklee College of Music and other music schools and colleges, writing articles and books for major publishing companies such as Alfred Publishing. His best selling books and DVD’s include: Shredding Bach, Shredding Paganini, Shredding the Composers, Serious Shred Techniques, The Total Shred Guitarist.
German writes the popular monthly guitar column “Instant Shredding” in Germany’s biggest guitar magazine “Gitarre & Bass.” He is a 9 time (2004-2012) recipient of the ASCAP Plus Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The July 2008 Issue of Guitar World Magazine listed German as one of the fastest Guitarist of all time.
A resident of Los Angeles, German is active in the local music scene as a performer, composer, producer and musical director.
