Mark Sheppard
Drummer
“I have one of these wonderful VELOC Cymbal Bags. I love all the features and I've taken it all over the world. Wonderful gear, wonderful team."
Mark Sheppard began his career a gigging drummer by the age of 15 in London. After relocating to the United States, Mark Sheppard continued recording and performing, including forming bands like School of Fish. After moving to the United States, Mark Sheppard remained active in the music scene, recording, performing, and helping form bands such as School of Fish. By the early 90s his growing success in acting led him to shift focus, putting his drumming career on hold for several years. After years away from the kit, Mark Sheppard returned to performing in the early 2000's, appearing live at fan conventions and touring again with Robyn Hitchcock. His playing draws heavily from punk and alternative influences, prioritizing groove, feel, and stage energy over technical showmanship. He's still traveling on tour drumming today.
