The new SoloStrap Neo was designed with one thing in mind: To be the most comfortable padded single guitar strap you'll ever own! Comes in two widths: The 4.0 model (4" wide) helps ease the weight of heavier instruments such as basses and solid-body guitars, while the 2.5 model (2.5" wide) offers ample cushion for lighter instruments. Both models feature thick anti-fatigue, double-layered neoprene coupled with durable faux leather, with limited stretch to avoid that bothersome "bungee" bouncy effect.

Our quick and easy "Slide Lock" length adjustment system offers the widest length range, from 38" to 48.5", and all the way to 62" for the XL models.

AWFUL MATERIAL

I'm very disappointed. While the strap is well padded and comfortable to wear, it's simply not durable. The material it's made of (PU or neoprene) starts to peel off after a couple of years. Besides being bad for the environment as all the little black parts that come off go around, they are also a mess to clean. I do NOT recommend buying it.

Solostrap neo chocolate 4 inch...love it!

I have tried so many different straps for my basses. Currently I am using slim width woven guitar straps, which are just not supportive enough for heavier basses. I have tried in the past several other brands which I returned or gave away, too wide, too hot, rubbing on my neck etc... I am a 5'4'' female and also those huge straps can look overpowering. I am vegan and so happy to find Gruv and their non leather strap. I love the rich elegant brown color!
Customer service was great, they directed me to a video with great instructions on changing the length. I am using the strap on my Jazz bass and it is super comfortable, supportive, does not rub on my neck, looks great, and does not seem to slide around on my shoulder. I am very happy with this strap! Planning to get 2 more soon.

SOLOSTRAP NEO

Honestly this is the best strap I've ever owned and I don't plan changing it.
Feels very comfortable even if your instrument is quite heavy. No shoulder pain.
I love it!!!

SOLOSTRAP NEO

At $60, $80 including shipping, it'd be better for you to invest in a high-end $100+ guitar strap, or maybe even a cheap guitar pad. The strap itself is made of three major parts; the shoulder pad, the tail strap, and the slide locks. As demonstrated in the video featured on this product's page, you set the length of the Solostrap by locking the shoulder pad and tail strap together with the slide locks. Compared to traditional straps, the Solostrap takes a considerably longer amount of time to adjust the length. Additionally, you will feel the slide locks pressing into you. It's less noticeable the farther away they are from your shoulder. While yes, this design does make it impossible for the Solostrap to slip while you're using it, you won't have this problem with a decently built strap in the first place. Once you've set your preferred height, you'll find the Solostrap to be alright. Compared to a nylon/cotton strap, it's an improvement, but there are other options available at this price point (ESO/Levy). I also have issues with the strap coming undone from the strap button. It's an everyday occurrence, and I need to check how secure it is every time I stand up.

My initial review wasn't very well written, and because of that, the support staff contacted me to correct an issue I might have had. They thought I had an old screw lock and offered me a free upgrade. Although everything was fine with my order, it's nice to know that they'll have your back if something is wrong.
